    The End of the Year

Finally, 2016 is coming to an end. It feels like it's been an extra long year filled with incredible highs and devestating lows. I'm happy to put this year behind us while simultaneously feeling pretty anxious about what 2017 has in store. Luckily, we have a few cool things to share. Read on.

    Elle - S/T 12"

Coming in the late winter/early spring will be the debut effort by the Bay Area's ELLE. This record has been on repeat for me since first hearing it and I'm beyond stoked to be bringing it to life in the form of a one-sided 12". The band is made up of members of Yearbooks, Loma Prieta and Beau Navire, to name a few, and effortlessly created one of the year's best screamo records. The A.V. Club premiered this EP recently along with a kind review and some words from the band. It can be streamed here and the vinyl can be pre-ordered here.

    Creepers - Tour Cassette

Our buds Creepers are hitting the road for a month alongside the likes of The Body and Alcest, starting in mid-January. Full tour dates are up on Brooklyn Vegan. In anticipation of their upcoming full length, we're happy to be working with Creepers on a tour-only cassette featuring both old and unreleased songs. Catch them in a town near you and listen to their full discography here.

Revolution Bummer - I (A) My Country CS

Last on the plate for early 2017 is the cassette version of the debut record from REVOLUTION BUMMER. This new anarcho-punk outfit features members of Amber Inn/Turnkey/Exhale/Super Unison and is about to start touring the country. A vinyl version is forthcoming from a yet-to-be-named label, but we should have the tape out soon. For now, stream the record here.
